Exceptional House Manager Opportunity – London & Worldwide Travel
Location: Knightsbridge, London, UK (with worldwide travel)
Salary: £80,000 PA
We are delighted to present an exceptional opportunity for a highly organised, discreet, and versatile House Manager to support a private client based in Knightsbridge, London, with extensive international travel. This is a senior, hands-on position combining high-level personal assistant duties with full oversight of multiple private residences, offering a dynamic and rewarding role within a luxury private household environment.
The successful House Manager will act as the primary point of contact for the Principal, managing all aspects of their personal and professional schedule. This includes comprehensive diary management, coordinating meetings and appointments, and handling all correspondence, including emails, calls, and post, with efficiency and discretion.
A key aspect of the role will involve organising complex international travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, transport, and restaurant reservations. The House Manager will be required to travel frequently with the Principal, ensuring that all logistics are seamlessly executed and that each residence is fully prepared ahead of arrival.
In addition to PA responsibilities, the role encompasses full household management across multiple properties, including residences in London and Paris. You will liaise closely with household staff, delegate tasks, and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of each property to the highest possible standards. The ability to take initiative, prioritise effectively, and maintain oversight across multiple locations is essential.
The House Manager will also support lifestyle management, including organising private events and functions, overseeing suppliers, and ensuring a consistently high level of service. On occasion, you may be required to assist with food and beverage service, particularly in more remote locations, demonstrating flexibility and a hands-on approach.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong administrative and organisational skills, capable of working proactively and managing competing priorities with ease. Fluency in English and conversational Chinese is essential, enabling effective communication across the Principal’s international network. Previous experience within a private household, or in a role combining PA, house management, or butler responsibilities, is required.
You will be impeccably presented, professional, and calm under pressure, with a positive and adaptable attitude. Discretion and confidentiality are paramount, alongside a commitment to delivering exceptional service at all times.
This is a full-time role working six days per week, with flexibility required to accommodate the Principal’s schedule and international travel. The position offers a competitive salary of £80,000 per annum, with the opportunity to work within a high-calibre, globally oriented private environment.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced House Manager seeking a long-term role with significant responsibility, travel, and exposure to a luxury international lifestyle.
