We are delighted to present a wonderful opportunity for an experienced, organised, and nurturing family nanny to join a warm and welcoming private household based in Holland Park, London. This is a full-time position supporting a young family with three children aged 6, 10, and 11, combining both childcare and light personal assistant duties within a well-structured home environment.

The successful family nanny will play an integral role in the day-to-day life of the household, ensuring the children are well cared for, supported, and engaged. The family is seeking a candidate who is energetic, kind, attentive, and highly organised, with a genuine passion for working with children and supporting busy family life.

During school hours, the role will involve family assistant and PA responsibilities, including managing schedules, coordinating activities, running errands, and assisting with general household organisation. Once the children return from school, the family nanny will take full responsibility for school pick-ups, supervising homework, and supporting the evening routine, including preparing the children for dinner and bedtime in a calm and structured manner.

The household is supported by two experienced housekeepers who oversee cleaning and meal preparation, allowing the family nanny to focus primarily on the children’s care, development, and daily routines. This creates a collaborative and well-supported working environment, ideal for a candidate who enjoys being part of a professional household team.

Flexibility is an important aspect of this position. The successful candidate will be required to travel with the family during school holidays on occasion, depending on the family’s plans. This offers variety within the role and the opportunity to support the children in different environments, while maintaining consistency in their routines and care.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience working as a family nanny or family assistant within a private household. You should be confident managing multiple children, able to balance childcare with organisational responsibilities, and capable of working independently with initiative. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a calm, professional manner are essential.

The family also has a dog, so a candidate who is comfortable around pets would be well suited to the role.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, from 12 pm to 8 pm. The role offers a structured schedule alongside the opportunity to become a valued and trusted part of a private household.
