Job Overview
A superb position for an experienced Butler (with a strong history of being a butler serving UHNWI) is required for a private household based in Kensington. This house is a full-time residence.
We are looking for a meticulous, hands-on Butler to oversee, manage and work alongside an existing team. Exceptional attention to detail, a “can do” attitude, and is highly discreet and professional are essential. In addition, we prefer someone that is also good with housekeeping, flower arrangements, serving, and table setting.
The property is a substantial, refurbished SMART property in one of London’s exclusive residential areas. The successful applicant must be resourceful and self-sufficient. The property is maintained to a very high standard.
You must have good administrative skills to manage budgets, expenses, inventories, etc. The property has many unique finishes and fine furnishings. Experience with the care of artwork, fine finishes, and fabrics is a great advantage. It would be good if the successful applicant had an excellent technical understanding of the property (plant rooms, pools, boiler rooms, Creston, dealing with contractors, etc.) Hands-on is extremely important as this is not a job for someone sitting in the office all day.
Regular working hours will be Monday-Friday, 8 am-6 pm; however, when the principal is in residence, you must be willing to work longer hours. Accommodation can be provided within the house if required. A driver would be a bonus. ASAP start.
