Experienced Live-out Luxury Housekeeper Required – Chelsea, London

We are delighted to present an excellent opportunity for an experienced and highly professional Luxury Housekeeper to join the private residence of a professional couple based in Chelsea. This is a full-time, live-out position, ideally suited to a candidate who takes pride in maintaining exceptional standards within a refined private household environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall cleanliness, presentation, and organisation of a beautifully maintained home. This is a hands-on role requiring a meticulous eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work both independently and proactively. You will ensure that the residence is consistently presented to an immaculate standard, reflecting the expectations of a high-end private household.
Daily duties will include comprehensive cleaning and upkeep of all living areas, ensuring every room is maintained with precision and care. You will also be responsible for implementing regular deep cleaning schedules, particularly when the Principals are travelling, as well as caring for valuable items such as antiques, silverware, and bespoke furnishings with the utmost attention.
Laundry and wardrobe management form a key part of this position. The Luxury Housekeeper will manage all aspects of garment care, including washing, pressing, steaming, and the organisation of wardrobes. A strong understanding of delicate fabrics, designer garments, and high-value clothing is essential, along with the ability to maintain a well-ordered and visually presentable wardrobe.
In addition to core housekeeping duties, you will be confident liaising with contractors, tradespeople, and external service providers when required. The ability to take initiative, oversee work within the home, and ensure tasks are completed to a high standard is essential. A calm, solutions-focused approach and the ability to take ownership of responsibilities will be highly valued.
The ideal candidate will have a warm, positive, and professional personality, with a genuine passion for housekeeping and delivering a high level of service. You should be discreet, trustworthy, and capable of integrating seamlessly into a private household. Flexibility is important, as there will be occasions where you may be required to provide additional support or adjust your schedule when necessary.
This is a full-time role of 40 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday. Occasional weekend cover may be required; however, this will be arranged in advance and time off in lieu will be provided. Due to the location, it is preferred that candidates hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
While this is a live-out position, there may be occasions where you will be required to stay in the property when the Principals are travelling, ensuring the home is maintained and secure at all times.
Candidates must have a minimum of five years’ experience working as a Luxury Housekeeper within a private household, along with strong communication skills in English and the legal right to work in the UK. This is an immediate start for a dedicated professional seeking a long-term position within a prestigious London residence.
